On Thursday, November 20, Charles D. Owen Middle School opened its doors, and heart, for the annual Gobble Till You Wobble family dinner. This beloved tradition invites all families across the Owen district to enjoy a free, festive meal served with care, gratitude, and plenty of holiday spirit.

Long tables filled the cafeteria as neighbors, students, and staff came together to share heaping plates of turkey, ham, sides and desserts. Laughter echoed through the room as families reconnected with friends, met new faces, and took a moment to pause and enjoy one another.

This year’s event served close to 300 families. Countryside BBQ worked in the serving lines ensuring every guest felt welcomed and nourished - not just with food, but with kindness and community.

For many, Gobble Till You Wobble is more than a meal. It’s a reminder of the strength and togetherness that define the Owen district. As families headed home for the evening, the warmth inside the cafeteria lingered - a true reflection of what makes this community so special.
