Discipline/Expected Student Conduct/DOJO

Discipline/Expected Student Conduct/School-wide DOJO

Candler Elementary had adopted ClassDojo to utilize as our school-wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports’ (PBIS) platform. PBIS’s multi-tiered framework establishes supports needed to improve social, emotional, behavioral, and academic outcomes for all students. Through ClassDojo Candler school, teachers and families can build a close-knit community by sharing what’s being learning in the classroom home through photos, videos and messages. ClassDojo’s mission is to reinvent classrooms by bringing teachers, students and parents closer together. Teachers use ClassDojo daily to encourage students, by distributing positive behavior points (dojo points) and by getting parents engaged through messaging and posting on the classroom story. ClassDojo will serve as the primary communication tool for Candler teachers and staff, in addition to phone and email.
