Welcome to our upcoming Kindergarten students and families!  We are excited to add each of you to our CES family!

In this time of "Stay Home, Stay Safe", we are having to find a new way to do Kindergarten Registration.  Listed below if helpful information.

1.  Please click on this link Kindergarten Registration to go directly to the County's enrollment page.

2.  Complete the online Registration so that we will have your and your student's information so that we can update you as soon as we learn more.

3.  These documents are REQUIRED for registration and should be either e-mailed or faxed to the school.  

One Proof of Address (It must be a current utility bill (power, water or gas), a mortgage statement, rent/lease agreement, deed or buyer's agreement,

A certified copy of child's birth certificate,

Proof of guardianship.  We will use the child's birth certificate (with a copy of your photo ID), or custody paperwork signed by a judge.

  • These items should be either faxed or e-mailed once you complete the on-line registration.  The School's fax number is (828) 667-2439 or you can e-mail them to
  • Other items that must be turned in at Orientation (if one is held) or at Meet the Teacher at a date to be determined.
      • Second proof of address,
      • Copy of up-to-date immunization records.  By law, this must be provided within 30 calendar days of enrollment.,
      • North Carolina Health Assessment.  For all students new to North Carolina Public Schools, this form MUST be completed.  By law, this form is due within 30 calendar days of enrollment.
