Student Recognition

Student Recognition

Students are recognized each nine weeks in grades three and four on a special bulletin board in the lobby area for the honor roll.

As part of our Candler CATS PBIS positive behavior program, all students are recognized through Super CATS celebrations each month and during school assemblies.

Other awards, including fitness awards, Perfect Attendance, good bus behavior, and PBIS awards are also given to recognize student achievement and exemplary behavior.  Individual classrooms offer classroom awards and incentives and participate in a variety of contests allowing students to excel.  As we continue to look for additional ways to recognize our students, we may add additional recognition opportunities.

We hope you will encourage your child to participate in special projects and strive to do his/her best.

Anytime your child is not progressing in school as you think he/she should, you should contact the teacher and visit the school.  You can set up an appointment for a conference by calling the school office or by sending a note to your child’s teacher.
